Cheryl is a certified Yoga and Ayurveda Therapist. She was introduced to a Classical Style of Yoga back in 2006, when she and her family lived in New Brunswick. She decided to give it a try, as she was feeling some pains created from focusing on different fitness training and running. She thought then, that she didn’t need to stretch or warm up to do things. Just go for it, full force at the start.
After a few sessions, she was hooked and could feel the advantages yoga was giving her physical body. Gradually she was recognizing how it was positively affecting her mental state as well.
Cheryl has more than 1000 hours of Yoga Teacher Training Certifications. She has her RYT-500hrs with Yoga Alliance US, and she has her CYT-E-RYTGOLD with Canadian Yoga Alliance. She is always wanting to learn and build her knowledge with Yoga and also Ayurveda, the science of life. She loves to link the practices to actual science and leaves all the mysticism behind. She likes to instruct people to educate them how their individual body moves. We are not all the same. She also guides clients on how to recognize how the physical and mental bodies are connected and how to bring them into balance.
